North Texas Travel Lacrosse

North Texas Travel Lacrosse was formed in June, 2009 out of a core group of players and parents from a local North Texas Lacrosse club. The program was created to provide an opportunity and venue for those individuals having the talent and desire to play lacrosse at a higher level. It will strive to enhance the quality of lacrosse in North Texas and showcase that quality to the community at large and neighboring states.

Our Lacrosse program fields high school level teams and will operate primarily in the Summer, Fall and Winter. The organizations goals are to work on getting the players into college, through scholarships, where they can continue to play lacrosse and get a valuable education that will last a lifetime.

We are forward thinking and realize that the sport of lacrosse can be used as a motivational tool to help our youth both physically and mentally. Our emphasis is less on the 'high school' oriented goals, which revolves around the high school league and more on the skills which will be required to succeed at the next level. By taking our players on the road and out of area we will strive to maximize their exposure to the sport and teach the players the skills they will need to handle both a college workload and the rigors of being away from home. With these skills we feel our players will be better positioned when they graduate and move on to college.

Come join a stable program, with a stable administration run by people who care and understand youth sports. We take an active role in our program and treat every individual with the respect they deserve. Not every organization is run by individuals with nearly 30 years of youth sports experience.

In today's market with the wide variety of youth sports options available you want to know you are engaging with an organization who is more that just a place to drop off your kids. Its not enough that a couple of individuals within the organization have a sports background. You need an organization that is designed for sports by people who are involved in sports. We want what is best for your child and we will not restrict their growth or limit them in any way.

We accept any player who is willing to work hard and can dedicate themselves to a team environment. We do not remove players from our team for helping out other teams or even playing for another team. After all, lacrosse is a family, a way of life and all players promote lacrosse in North Texas.

North Texas Travel Lacrosse is now accepting applications for the Spring travel season.

North Texas Travel Lacrosse is THE place to play lacrosse in and around Wylie. We do not back down from any competition, because if you want to be the best you have to compete against the best. Don't let your team hold you back, come play where you can be challenged to play at the best of your ability.

Would you like to travel to out of area games with a close knit and dedicated group of players?

1. You will learn responsibilities that you cannot get staying local.
2. You will learn to work with the other players to solve problems on and off the field .
3. You will experience a wide variety of lacrosse talent from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
4. You will attend approximately 1 to 2 tournaments a month outside of the season play.
